Install a Hughes hardened input shaft in your Powerglide transmission and feel confident you will not have any twisting or breakage. For the high horsepower and transbrake application Hughes hardened input shafts made from 4340 steel billet, will exceed the need! Turbo shafts are also available and manufactured from special forged alloy steel for even higher horsepower applications. NOTE: Aluminium Powerglide w/Turbo Spline w/o rings can be used with special top sportsman style oil pump ONLY! Part # for pump and shaft is HP7437XK
