Pitman arms are wear items and produce additional play and shimmy in the steering system as they wear out. Replacing a worn pitman arm will help reduce that play in your steering. Made to meet or exceed OEM specifications, Classic Performance pitman arms are available for both manual and power steering applications. Replacement of the pitman arm is also frequently required when converting to or from factory power or manual steering.
