Painless VATS computer chips allow you to bypass the factory programming, making the wiring in your engine swap a snap. Since 1989, most GM fuel injection systems have incorporated a Vehicle Anti-Theft System (VATS) programmed into the stock EPROM or PCM. This means the engine will not run if it is transplanted into a vehicle without the original vehicle steering column and decoder module. If you have one of these engines and your computer has the factory programming, you need Painless VATS computer chips to make your job trouble-free.
