Aeroflow Performance 304 stainless steel hard lines are aircraft-quality, seamless thin wall tube which are double annealed for easier flaring and bending. This stainless-steel brake/fuel/oil line is ideal for routing lines along the chassis, frame rails or anywhere flexible line is not required. These stainless-steel hard lines are rated for up to 6000 psi and designed for use with tube line adapter fittings or when using a flaring tool with tube nut/tube sleeve combinations. The hard line is available in 25-foot rolls (7.6 meters) of 3/16" (4.76mm), 1/4" (6.35mm), 5/16" (7.95mm), 3/8" (9.52mm) or 1/2" (12.7mm) outside diameter tubing. Stainless steel tube manufactured to ASTM-A269 standards. NOTE: Stainless steel is more difficult to bend and flare, compared to typical steel line. We recommend that a professional-grade flaring tool be used with these lines. Stainless steel can also be difficult to seal when replacing an existing brake or fuel line. The previously installed line can create a wear pattern on the flare seat which will not allow the new stainless-steel flare to seal properly. When replacing an existing line we recommend a thorough inspection of the existing brake fitting, fuel fitting, junction block, wheel cylinder, brake caliper, etc. It's possible that the existing component may need to be replaced for a proper seal.
