Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) Mod-Twin 225 Maxx Xtreme twin-disc clutch kits are available in two styles—Sprung Race and Rigid Race—for a variety of applications, including many Subaru and Mitsubishi models. Here are descriptions of each:

* MOD-TWIN 225 XX SPRUNG RACE CLUTCH KIT:
Performs aggressive launches and smoother shifting in high-powered AWDs by combining twice the ceramic friction surfaces with an ultra-durable mono-drive sprung hub assembly in a completely modular design. Each diaphragm spring endures an exclusive 4-stage heat treating process, providing a consistent pedal feel requiring moderate effort. Puck-style friction plates with high-quality ceramic friction materials deliver high friction coefficient, superior heat capacity, and long clutch life. These plates uniformly transfer torque to a mono-drive sprung hub assembly which extends input shaft life and reduces driveline shock from torsional vibration. This kit includes a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel, pressure plate cover, diaphragm spring, face, puck-style ceramic friction plates, sprung mono-drive hub assembly, floater, patented Monoloc Collar, release bearing, alignment tool and pilot bearing (if needed).

Each diaphragm spring endures an exclusive 4-stage heat treating process, providing a consistent pedal feel requiring moderate effort. Puck-style friction plates with high-quality ceramic friction materials deliver high friction coefficient, superior heat capacity, and long clutch life. These plates uniformly transfer torque to a mono-drive chromoly steel hub which is heat treated for strength and durability, extending input shaft life with one continuous spline. The lightweight, rigid design allows for quicker shifts and trouble-free service. This kit includes a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel, pressure plate cover, diaphragm spring, face, puck-style ceramic friction plates, rigid mono-drive hub, floater, patented Monoloc Collar.

This means that we do not have the product in our warehouse. We only order “Special Order” products from the supplier when you order them from us. Generally, we do not intend to keep an inventory of these items. Therefore, returns are not possible.

“Special Order” products could be shipped directly from the supplier or they could be shipped to us first. Then, we would ship it to you. The available shipping options will be provided during the checkout process.
