ARP Black Cat Paw washers are useful in many applications, such as attaching accessories, chassis components, etc. They're not of the hardness required for use on cylinder heads, mains, and connecting rods. Machined from chromoly steel, the washers have a protective black oxide finish and are available in different diameters and thicknesses. These hardware accessories prevent fasteners from moving or corroding.
