Melling rocker arm pivots (aka fulcrum) are essential to dependable rocker arm performance. Damaged and/or worn pivots will increase friction and cause misalignment and inefficient arm movement leading to premature engine failure. A worn pivot will also not allow for proper valvetrain adjustment. Melling rocker arm pivots are manufactured to high quality and material standards, and they recommend new pivots with every engine rebuild.
