Refund policy

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Our suppliers charge us a 40% restocking fee, Therefore all returns will incur the same restocking fee. 
Please be prepared for this fee to be charged when returning goods to us. It is best to contact us first. 

To start a return, you can contact us at orders@automotivefittings.co.nz and we will respond in 24 hours. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package in 3 working days. We will ensure you receive your full refund on receipt of your items being returned to us. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please be aware as stock levels may change we would always ask you to email us first and we will ensure your case is dealt with fully to ensure a satisfactory outcome.

Wrongly Ordered Goods
Please take care when ordering, We have a 40% Restocking fee on wrongly ordered goods. 
All costs associated with return will be at the customers expense. 

Wrongly Shipped Goods
Automotive Fittings will cover all expenses including return freight charges for wrongly shipped goods. 
Automotive Fittings has the right to request the wrong goods back first before the correct goods are shipped. 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If you notice any damage please take photos for your records and contact us within 24 hours.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, You will need to first contact the team and get the exchange approved first. Then once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 24 hours of receipt of delivery. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Compensation is not available for any issues as a direct result of parts failure & or installation of these components.
