Description:
These AFR 185cc aluminum cylinder heads for small block Ford engines shave 50 pounds compared to cast iron. These heads are competition ready with a five-angle valve job and CNC-ported combustion chambers, exhaust, and intake ports. The 72cc combustion chambers, 185cc intake runners, and a ¾ in. thick head deck make them a perfect fit with nitrous or forced induction. AFR uses stainless 2.02 in. intake/1.60 in. exhaust valves, 0.600 max lift hydraulic roller dual valve springs, 7-degree Manley steel retainers, ⅜ in. ARP rocker studs, and bronze valve guides. They are drilled for ½ in. head bolts and have no provisions for use with an air pump or EGR valve.
