Allstar Performance pinion nuts are used to secure the driveshaft yoke to the pinion gear. They are the perfect high-quality steel replacement components for original, worn, or damaged pinion nuts. Technically, each time a gear set is changed, the pinion nut components should be replaced as well. So, if it's time to change your gear set, remember to replace the differential pinion nuts, too.
