Alpinestars youth karting neck supports are specifically designed and developed for a fit that is specific to a youth rider's anatomy. The support frame is constructed from an injected polymer compound that's been impact-tested for performance on a range of off-road surfaces and varying temperatures. The frame has been ergonomically engineered to promote contact with the helmet during a crash—to act as an alternate load path, reducing the chance of muscular neck injuries from extreme head movement.

* Overall frame construction dissipates energy loads by transmitting them across the back—thus, providing an alternative load path to reduce and help minimize excessive energy that compresses the neck
