Better performance requires better communication. Classic Instruments speed signal interface modules will efficiently convert pulse signals to make sure your instruments and your transmission clearly understand each other.
As a speedometer interface:
Input source options:
* Built-in Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) input source
* Three-wire pulse signal generator input source
* Two-wire pulse signal generator input source
* One-wire ECM signals input source
Output:
* 8,000 pulse per mile or 16,000 pulse per mile
* 8,000 ppm cruise output
Additional benefits:

* Input signal can range from 2,000-200,000 pulses per mile
* State-of-the-art signal averaging software that ensures smooth pointer operation, even in fluctuating signal conditions * Noise-reducing, filtered power output for powered speedometer signal generators
As a tachometer interface Input source options:
* High-voltage coil signal input source (typically the negative side of an ignition coil) 0.5-6.0 pulses per revolution (1-12 cylinder engine)
* 5-12 V square wave signal input source from aftermarket ignition box or ECM
* Inductive gear tooth sensor input source, 32-510 tooth range
Output:
* Signal output 12 V square wave, 50 percent duty cycle
* 2, 3, or 4 pulses per revolution (4, 6, or 8 cylinder)
* 3 preset flywheel tooth settings

“Special Order” products could be shipped directly from the supplier or they could be shipped to us first. Then, we would ship it to you. The available shipping options will be provided during the checkout process.
