Their bodies are heat-treated steel alloy finished with bright electroless nickel or hard chrome plated, and then fitted with hard chrome plated 52100 steel balls and heat-treated steel alloy races that are zinc plated and chromate-treated. Featuring a PFTE liner chemically bonded to the inner diameter of the race they offer a very high load-carrying capacity and greatly increased dynamic wear characteristics.
