Carefully designed to maintain the full stock steering radius, these Thunderbird rack and pinion cradle systems use a travel bar system to attach the rack gear to the tie rod ends. Flaming River rack and pinion cradle steering systems are precision jig-welded and install in the stock steering system mounting holes. There is no drilling, cutting, or welding required. Cradle kits include paintable mill or highly polished tilt column, universal joints, power steering pump with billet bracket and pulley, polished aluminum mounting reservoir, and the patented rack and pinion cradle system.
