Description:
Flaming River Impala/Caprice power rack and pinion cradle kits help deliver precision steering on your restoration vehicle. They have a full lock-to-lock turning radius and an adjustable pinion angle. These assemblies also utilize a travel bar design to properly position the steering pivot points to the original location and turning radius. The stabilizer guide clamp provides added stability while driving. Flaming River rack and pinion systems use the factory tie rods to connect the travel bar to your vehicle's spindles. These kits install with basic hand tools in the original mounting holes for the steering box and idler arm assembly—and no cutting, drilling, or welding is required.
