JE Pistons Subaru EJ Series pistons are single replacements. Available in different bore sizes for right or left, the pistons are specifically engineered for extreme applications up to, and including, professional competition. In such environments, the higher compression ratios and boost necessitate the high-tensile strength of forged 2618 aluminum construction. The skirts feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design that minimizes friction and power loss with reduced skirt width and saves additional weight with a shorter wrist pin.
