Description:
Melling stop blocks limit the range of motion for the tensioner arm when necessary, preventing timing chain backlash and potential valvetrain damage. The blocks also guard against your tensioner arm losing contact with the primary chain (if the hydraulic tensioner happens to lose oil pressure), as well as prevent valve-jumping due to runner failures. Avoid costly rebuilds with replacement tensioner components from Melling!
