These TCI flexplate safety shields are designed to protect both drivers and spectators from the effects of flexplate or starter ring failure. Mandatory in many classes of the NHRA, IHRA, and IMCA, each flexplate shield is manufactured from high-strength steel and certified to SFI specifications.
