Description:
Wilwood's D52-R single piston floater calipers feature a lightweight 4.3 lb. forged aluminum Type III hard-anodized body with a stainless steel piston. They're offered in a variety of options, including piston diameters of 2.38 or 2.75 in.; rotor widths of 0.81, 1.04, or 1.28 in.; and rotor diameters of up to 12.50 in. The caliper fluid inlet port is centered directly behind the piston, and this eliminates any interference with slide pins.
These heavy-duty brake calipers feature a lower deflection rate and higher volumetric efficiency, which makes them superior to heavier cast models. They use standard D52 pads available in a range of compounds for every application. The Wilwood D-52R calipers also use the original GM stock height and offset mounting, so there's no need to make expensive modifications. This is the pinnacle design for OEM replacement racing calipers. Order the size needed for your application.
