Although stronger than straight cut gears, these helical units are not recommended for racing due to the excessive axial loads. Simply install Winters 10-spline quick-change helical gears, keep endplay limited to .010 max, add sufficient oil to the differential, and enjoy a quiet ride till your next trip to the track.
